About Saint Vincent Hospital...

Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1875, Saint Vincent is the Erie area’s first hospital. Since then, Saint Vincent has evolved into an integrated healthcare provider, spread across the northwestern Pennsylvania region. 

Saint Vincent is the seventh hospital to join the Allegheny Health Network of hospitals in Northwestern Pennsylvania.  Through this partnership, Saint Vincent remains committed to the Erie and surrounding communities by providing the highest quality patient care and ensuring patients and families the best experience when they choose Saint Vincent and the Allegheny Health Network.

Through our partnership, we're able to to offer patients a broader range of services right here in Erie.  Specialty physicians travel to Erie to offer patients this care opportunity and partner with their current Saint Vincent primary care or specialty physician to ensure positive continuity of care. 

Saint Vincent continues to remain a leader in cardiac, neurological and women's services and continues to offer patients several options in primary care and specialty physicians.  Our goal is to offer our patients the best possible care and experience throughout the Saint Vincent umbrella of services.  We're your hospital.  We're Saint Vincent.
